Planning on buying a black dining table? Then we understand that you don't want to rush your judgment. To help you make the best choice, we’ve collected all information about our black dining tables on this page, so you immediately see what the possibilities are. This way you’ll always buy a black dining table that matches both your tastes and interior.

Different shapes

One of the most important specifications of your new dining table is already decided upon: you choose black! That means we are well on our way already. Now, the goal is to choose a shape. As we make our dining tables ourselves in our workshop in Heeze, we have a lot of freedom. Among other things, this has resulted in us having many different shapes in store for you. They are listed below.

The biggest advantage of a round table is that you can see everyone who’s sitting at the table, which automatically leads to a cosier feeling. In addition, a round table is ideal in a smaller space. With a round black table you’ll be sure of efficient use of the space you have.  If it gets really cosy, you always have the option of adding some extra chairs.

The opposite shape of round, although it allows you to look at everyone else just as well! A black square dining table is well suited for a somewhat small space. By playing around with the dimensions you can totally adjust the table to your wishes. Do you want to place 1 or 2 chairs per side? Adjust your measurements and we'll take care of it!

A classic shape among dining tables that is and remains popular. With a rectangular black table, you get a versatile piece of furniture that you can use in all directions. Choose a frame yourself and combine it with a rectangular tabletop of which you determine the length and width. A large rectangular black table is perfect for the whole family, a drink evening with friends or family.

One of our specialties and very popular at the moment. That could very well be because we can make as many as 4 different oval shapes for you: standard oval, Danish oval, semi-oval and the semicircle. Each variant has its own accents and details. Want to know more about these shapes and are you curious which black oval dining table suits you best? Then be inspired by our blog about the 4 oval shapes.

Choose the material

Alright, now that you’ve decided on a shape and a colour it’s time to choose the material. After that you’ll have the opportunity to fill in the details. In terms of material, Table du Sud has a number of options. Working with oak has always been one of our specialties and of course we also sell black oak tables. In addition, we offer beautiful Fenix tables, or how about a black herringbone table? This pattern is not only suitable for the floor, but also for furniture!

When you think of a new black dining table, you may immediately imagine all kinds of wood, but did you know that we also work with other materials in black? For instance, there’s both black marble and black ceramic. In short: plenty of choice. Already know what it’ll be? Tip: the pictures of our tables really only give an indication of what is possible. For example, a table with a wood-look tabletop is also available in black!
