Minimalism with a Japandi twist. If you try to describe Studio Verbaan’s style, this comes pretty close. Studio Verbaan is a relatively young studio, founded in 2019 by conceptual thinker Solange Frankort and master woodworker Jordi Verbaan. They find it difficult to classify their work under a single category; according to them, it lies somewhere between furniture, objects and sculptures.

You don’t have to look far to see the connection with Table du Sud. In the past, we’ve also collaborated with Art in Return and Anne Claus interiors, stepping out of our comfort zone to create something entirely new.

In this project, we share our love for high-quality oak with Studio Verbaan. This collaboration resulted in a beautiful synergy that ultimately led to two striking dining tables. We were pleasantly surprised when Studio Verbaan shared the first models with us. The new forms immediately captured the imagination.
