For decades, oak wood has been one of the top materials in the world of dining tables, and it's no surprise why. High-quality oak wood can last a lifetime, is highly reliable, and comes in various types and colors. In short, it's a beautiful material that we love to work with to create oak tables in all shapes and shades. On this page, you’ll find all the essential information about our custom-made oak tables.

Custom-Made Oak Tables

We source our oak wood from reliable suppliers who provide us with top-quality material, enabling us to craft the most beautiful furniture every day in our own workshop in Heeze. Here, we have the freedom to bring new designs to life and continually perfect our production process. It's worth noting that we don't keep oak tables in stock. Instead, we offer you an incredible variety of options: literally hundreds of different oak tables can be created. This means we only start working on a table once a customer has made a purchase.

Oak Dining Table: All Shapes Available

The shape of your new table is, of course, one of the most important aspects. That’s why we believe it's essential to offer a wide range of popular and unique shapes so there is always an option that suits your taste and the rest of your interior. You’ve come to the right place for round, rectangular, and oval dining tables. Additionally, we offer shapes like Danish oval, half-circle, and pebble shape. Tip: We also sell dining chairs that you can fully customize, making it easy to match them with the rest of your dining room or kitchen.

Solid Oak Dining Table? Absolutely!

We’ve noticed that many other furniture stores use oak wood but are unable to offer solid oak. We take pride in being able to provide this option. We have tabletops that are 4 cm thick, and if you prefer an even thicker tabletop, that’s no problem! Thicknesses of 5 or 6 cm are also available. It’s good to know that we offer three types of oak wood: refined oak, rustic oak, and new oak. Rustic oak is our most natural material, with knots and cracks left untouched to retain its original character. The opposite is refined oak, made from specially selected, sleek planks with almost no knots. New oak is the middle ground, where we fill any cracks and knots for a smoother appearance. Want to learn more? Check out our page about oak wood for detailed information about your options. Tip: Consider looking beyond the typical wood color—we offer 11 different shades, so there's something for everyone.

Designing Your Oak Table

Of course, you're more than welcome to visit one of our showrooms to design your oak table together with one of our experts. But did you know you can also do this comfortably from your couch at home? We’ve developed a special 3D configurator for dining tables. Step by step, you can create your dream table in just a few minutes. Once you're satisfied with your design, you can email it to yourself, bring it to a showroom, or share it with a friend.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Oak Tables

What is the best wood for a table?

There are several good options, but oak is definitely among the top choices. Oak is relatively hard and reliable. It is also a sustainable option because of its long lifespan. Our oak dining tables can be maintenance-free for up to 10 years.

How long do oak dining tables last?

This depends on how intensively the table is used. If you clean it regularly and apply a protective lacquer after 10 years or more, an oak piece of furniture can last a lifetime.

What chairs go well with an oak dining table?

There isn’t a specific chair that pairs best with an oak table. It mainly depends on the color, design, and fabric type. Make sure the dining chair complements the table, enhancing the overall look rather than disrupting the balance.

What color chair matches an oak dining table?

This depends on the color of your dining table and the colors used in your dining room or kitchen. The chair's upholstery should fit harmoniously with the overall color scheme to maintain the balance in the room.

Can a solid oak dining table be placed outdoors?

We do not recommend placing our oak dining tables outside. The Dutch weather can affect the table's quality, even with a protective lacquer.

What is the difference between mango wood and oak wood?

Mango wood, which we do not use for our tables, is softer and therefore more vulnerable. The advantage of mango wood is that it is cheaper. Oak wood, on the other hand, is harder, stronger, and more durable.

Do I get a warranty on an oak dining table?

Yes, you receive a 2-year warranty.

How should I maintain my oak table?

We recommend wiping away spills immediately to prevent stains from setting. Clean the table regularly with a damp cloth. Additionally, we offer suitable maintenance products for all materials, which can help extend the lifespan of your furniture.

Can I see the oak tables in person?

You are more than welcome to visit our showrooms in Heeze, Utrecht, Rotterdam, and Deventer. Here, you can see some designs, view wood samples, and get expert advice from our staff. Would you like interior design advice? Schedule a free consultation at a time that suits you.

What is the delivery time for an oak table?

The delivery time depends on current demand. You can find the estimated delivery time on your table’s product page. We update this time immediately if the situation changes.
