Everything for an industrial living style

Tough, robust, and edgy.

Are you planning a major overhaul of your downstairs, or do you have a move planned? Then now is the time to start thinking about a new living style. There are so many options. We would like to help you choose by zooming in on the different possibilities. The industrial living style is and remains popular and for good reason.

Combine high-quality furniture with the right colours and designs and steal the show in your own home with a beautiful living style. On this page, we tell you more about industrial living and all the options you have.

What is an industrial interior?

You may already be fully aware of all the ins and outs, but for those people for whom this term does not immediately ring a bell, we would like to explain what exactly this style of home is. Many people quickly think of factories, workshops and companies when they hear "industrial". But what exactly is it?

The industrial living style is known for sleek interiors without too much fuss. By this we mean that there is little 'superfluous' furniture and accessories to be found within an industrial interior. We often see straight lines and a fairly tight colour palette. This means that the entire interior consists of a few colours rather than all the colours of the rainbow, to put it in the extreme. Industrial elements can enhance the living style within your interior. Think out of an old-fashioned locker or a ceiling where you can see the pipes running.

Industrial materials

Robust materials traditionally do well within industrial living rooms and kitchens. Steel, for example, is a perfect example of a material that 100% matches this style of living. The advantage of steel is that you can use it in different ways. Think, for example, of a beautiful pivot door. Of course, you also have the option of incorporating steel in the furniture. For example, did you know that we make our steel bases ourselves and that you can choose from different colours?

Industrial colours

If we zoom in a little further on this style of living, we come to the different colours that go well with it. It will come as no surprise to you that black is a colour that feels like a fish out of water within the industrial spectrum. We also see a lot of white, brown and grey tones that come up when we take a closer look at different industrial interiors. Here you can clearly see that there is indeed a link with old factories and workshops, as these are pre-eminently the colours that were and are used there. By the way, this is not a colour palette you necessarily have to stick to in order to satisfy the label 'industrial'. For example, you can also bring back green by placing some large plants.

Industrial furniture

Traditional black is obviously a hit if you want to go for industrial furniture. You can combine our bases with different materials to create a beautiful dining table or coffee table. Tip: want an all-black dining table? Then get inspired by our fenix dining tables. This functional material has a sleek appearance and we can offer it in many different colours, including black.

We also want to zoom in on our concrete dining tables. If there is one material that breathes industrial alongside steel it is, of course, concrete. When you think of a concrete dining table, you might immediately think of that typical grey colour, but that is just the tip of the iceberg. Of course, this is a colour you can choose, but we have several variants for you. Combine the top with a base of your choice and let your dining table perfectly match the rest of your dining room.

Industrial living room

Choosing a sofa for an industrial living room can be quite tricky because you can't use concrete or steel here.

Still, there are plenty of options to make your new sofa or recliner fit perfectly into your industrial setup. For instance, you can opt for a black or brown leather sofa. It's also good to know that we have literally dozens of fabrics and colours for you that can all be matched. That means there are hundreds of combinations to make and you can always find a combo that matches well with your wishes and with the rest of your interior.

Industrial TV furniture

To top it all off, it's good to know that with us you can also get your own TV furniture together. We have different designs that can all be tuned to your wishes. Combine a robust TV unit with a black TV, for example, to bring the right colours into this corner of your living room too.
