What to consider with a round dining table for 6 people?

Of course, the dimensions are extremely important if you're going for a new table. When selecting a round table, the diameter plays an important role. We advise you to opt for a minimum height of 1.40m. Also consider the degree of comfort and the seats you have. Tip: at Table du Sud, we have developed cutting patterns for round tables. When we say comfort, we mean the space between the seats. Would you rather have more room to move? Then choose a diameter of 1.50m or 1.60m. In addition, it's smart to study your dining room chairs carefully. Relatively slim chairs without armrests take up little space, while the slightly wider ones with armrests may take up more space than you think.

When arranging your dining room or kitchen, also make sure you pay close attention to the space around your new round dining table. 1.20m is the advised distance between the dining table and the wall. At this distance, it's possible to walk behind the table while people are sitting at the table. And of course, there's plenty of space to push your chair back. This is not a minimum size, by the way.
