How do I determine the perfect size of my pebble-shaped dining table?

What exactly is a pebble-shaped dining table?
Perhaps you’re still orienting and considering a number of shapes. In that respect, the pebble shape really is the odd one out. This shape can be categorised as an organic shape. What exactly does that mean? Well, you can best describe them as natural shapes, such as clouds and raindrops. The pebble shape looks a bit like a triangle with rounded corners. It’s good to know that we can make two different types of tabletops for you: type A and type B. You’ll automatically encounter both of these shapes when you first use the 3D configurator to compose your new piece of furniture.
Which sizes can I choose from?
We make the oak pebble-shaped dining tables for you in our own workshop in Heeze, Brabant. Fun fact: this workshop is literally adjacent to the showroom! During your exploratory tour of all the furniture, you can see our craftsmen in the background hard at work making the most diverse furniture. We deliver customisation, which means you have many different options to choose from. The smallest possible tabletop is 2 by 1.20 metres. Are you looking for a large dining table? Then you go for 3.20 by 1.50 metres, for example. Are you looking for a different size? Then please contact us. Together we can take a look at the possibilities! At Table du Sud, we work according to the Make to Order principle. This means that we have no stock and only get started when an order comes in.
Where do I put my dining chairs?
With a pebble-shaped dining table, you’re more or less taking a leap of faith, since this shape is not that well known. To give you some more info: you can place 3 or 4 chairs on the long side. On the corner side, you can place chairs 'around' the corner, as it were. Often, 1 dining chair is placed on one side and 2 dining chairs on the other side. Together, we look for the best size and number of chairs. Tip: reserve more space for dining chairs with armrests than for ones without.
