Oak dining table 
Do you prefer a smooth and tight tabletop? Then go for new oak! With this option, the knots and cracks in the top are filled with a special resin for a sleek look. You can choose to fill the knots with a wood-coloured resin, or with a black resin for it to stand out more.  

Do you prefer a characteristic look? Then choose lived oak. With this option, the knots and cracks are not filled and the top is brushed for the lived-in look. Would you like to know more about the material we use? Then check all the ins & outs about our oak wood. 

Danish oval
Just like a standard oval table, a Danish oval table is widest in the middle (this is also the width you find in the measurements). The difference, however, lies in the course of the shape towards the end sides. 20 cm from the end sides, the table is 40 cm narrower than it is in the middle. Where the shape of a standard oval table runs towards a point, the Danish oval shape ends in a flattened, almost rectangular corner! That's how you easily fit an extra chair at the end sides! Frame | Pomm
The slender steel Pomm frame is a real winner within the Table du Sud collection. Why? It is practical, read: lots of legroom, but it’s also something different than all those regular XX- or U-frames! The symmetrical design makes for a modern look that gives your dining room that elegant touch you are looking for.

We custom-make your frame with our own hands in our own workshop! Plastic caps are attached to the bottom of the frame to protect the floor. Tip: we also sell separate frames and maintenance products for your new table.

Tip du Table: The frame really comes into its own with an even number of chairs on both sides of the table. Why? If you choose a table for eight chairs, you can place two chairs to the left and two chairs to the right of the middle leg. Balance is key, right?
