Design Contest Winner: Oos

Calling the Oos table special would be an understatement. The design was created by the talented Marjolein Garritsen from Studio Garritsen. Out of hundreds of entries, her concept stood out and won our Design Contest, organised in celebration of Table du Sud’s ten-year anniversary. The competition, held in mid-2025, gave our followers the unique opportunity to leave their mark on our collection. Discover the results of the contest and Marjolein’s story here.

A unique collection

This collaboration resulted in a stunning collection of dining tables. Each piece showcases creativity and versatility, ensuring there’s always a design that perfectly fits your taste and interior. The only question is: are you ready to go for a table that’s truly out of the ordinary? We certainly would be. As always, we don’t work with stock, simply because there are too many possibilities. That’s why every Oos table is one of a kind.

Oos in oak

The striking Oos base forms the foundation of these tables. We craft it from high-quality oak wood, guaranteeing a durable piece of furniture that will last for years. The tabletop is made from the same solid oak, available in three finishes: refined oak, lived oak and new oak.

Refined oak is perfect for those who love a sleek, knot-free surface. Lived oak, on the other hand, celebrates natural character with visible cracks and knots. New oak offers the ideal balance, as the knots are filled but the natural grain remains.

With more than ten colour options available, it’s easy to find the perfect match for your interior.

Oos in Fenix Unicolor

You can also combine the Oos base with a Fenix Unicolor tabletop. Fenix is an ultra-matte, soft-touch material that’s easy to maintain and clean. The tabletops are four centimetres thick and come in a wide range of colours, allowing you to create striking combinations with the Oos base.
