What is Fenix?

Fenix ​​is ​​a thin sheet material with a nano-tech coating. This sheet material is made of paper (more than 60%) and thermosetting resin. The outer surface is treated with a new generation acrylic resin, which is hardened and fixed through an electron beam curing process. Pretty technical talk, but the result is a surface with an exceptionally matte and soft texture. Thanks to the electron beam curing process, the surface has acquired a kind of memory of its own. This memory can be activated by using heat to repair small scratches.

So, what’s Fenix ​​Unicolor then…?

We have three different Fenix lines in store, with one of them being Fenix ​​Unicolor. The tabletop of a Fenix Unicolor dining table consists of MDF with a top layer of Fenix. The top thickness of these tables is always 40 mm. In addition, it’s good to know that the edge finish is always a facet edge, where the sides slope inwards at angles of 60 degrees. The side of the tabletop is sprayed along with the top layer. This means that the entire top has the same colour, hence the name Unicolor.

This way you can perfectly match your new acquisition to the rest of your interior. When composing your table, you see all the colours you can choose from. This way you immediately get a good idea of ​​what the table will look like.
