What is iroko wood?
We can imagine that you’ve never heard of iroko. Or maybe you've seen this term somewhere, but you’re still scratching your head as to what it means exactly. Well, iroko is a hardwood species that originates from the African tropics. This wood is stable and durable, as it lasts a relatively long time. And that’s precisely why iroko is suitable for the making of garden furniture! Please note: iroko wood will discolour slightly over time. This is a property of the wood, meaning the discolouration is unavoidable.

All thanks to our professionals, who work with iroko wood day in and out. This material doesn’t hold any secrets for them anymore, that’s for sure! If you opt for an iroko wooden garden table, you’re bringing true Dutch furniture into your home. We have designed and perfected the iroko wooden garden chairs ourselves, so they fit perfectly with the tables and sit comfortably. Fun fact: inside the tables we’ve put stainless steel connections that make the whole extremely strong. Extra tip: we also sell ceramic garden tables.

The right material
We started with finding the right material for our new garden tables. Unlike indoors, an outdoor table must of course be able to withstand different weather conditions without any problems and look beautiful. Well, we found it: Iroko wood!
