Types of modular sofa

You can practically make your modular sofa as crazy as you want. Of course there are limits, a 9-seater, for instance, is a bit too much. You’ll automatically discover what the options are during the composition of your sofa. Are you looking for a classic 2-seater or 3-seater sofa, a stylish corner sofa or a large U-shaped sofa for the whole family? Everything is possible when composing your new sofa. Material

At Table du Sud you have an incredible number of options when it comes to material. PLEASE NOTE: the pictured modular sofas merely indicate what’s possible, they are available in dozens of different variants. The material is one of the most important properties of your new sofa. Are you, for example, charmed by a lovely soft velvet sofa, or are you more enthusiastic about a sofa made of somewhat stiffer leather? Both are possible and don’t forget there are many different types of fabric and leather in between these two extremes.

Colour

If you have determined the shape and material of your modular sofa, you’re well on your way. The final matter is one of choosing the right colour, a tough one, but we have good news for you in that area! Our modular sofas are available in dozens of different colours, which means that there’s always a colour available that makes you say: yes, that’s perfect for us. You still have to find this colour, though!

Finding the right colour can be a difficult job, but there are some useful tips to consider in the search for your new colour. This increases the chance that you’ll be fully satisfied after the delivery of your modular sofa.

For example, you can be in love with a certain colour, but this colour still has to match with the rest of the interior. If you’re going to replace an almost worn-out sofa, you already have a good foundation colour-wise. When moving to a new house with new furniture or a complete makeover, it’s a bit more difficult. Be extra careful that the different colours form a nice mix together!

In addition, it’s smart to consider the degree of sunlight. Will you place your new modular sofa in a room where sunlight has free play from 3 sides? Or is that room relatively dark in comparison? Both situations will affect the colour. A dark grey sofa can suddenly look a lot lighter under a lot of sunlight, while that same light grey can tend towards black again in a darker room. Don’t forget to pay attention to the sunlight before you choose a colour!
