The table top finish determines the structure and appearance of your furniture. The finishes differ from each other in terms of smoothness and look of the wood.

Your table will be provided with a very high-quality lacquer in our own modern lacquering line. This ensures that your furniture is very well protected against circles and stains. You can opt for the "ultra matt lacquer" that ensures that your furniture retains an untreated appearance. Prefer a different shade? Then choose one of the other twelve colors.

The Table du Sud star; the Danish oval dining table!

Shape | Danish oval
Just like a standard oval table, a Danish oval table is widest in the middle (this is also the width you find in the measurements). The difference, however, lies in the course of the shape towards the end sides. 20 cm from the end sides, the table is 40 cm narrower than it is in the middle. Where the shape of a standard oval table runs towards a point, the Danish oval shape ends in a flattened, almost rectangular corner! That's how you easily fit an extra chair at the end sides! Material | Oak
Do you prefer a smooth and tight tabletop? Then go for new oak! With this option, the knots and cracks in the top are filled with a special resin for a sleek look. You can choose to fill the knots with a wood-coloured resin, or with a black resin for it to stand out more.

Do you prefer a characteristic look? Then choose lived oak. With this option, the knots and cracks are not filled and the top is brushed for the lived-in look. Would you like to know more about the material we use? Then check all the ins & outs about our oak wood.

Frame | Louise
Are you a fan of straight lines and an industrial, robust look? Then the Louise frame is made for you! The frame consists of two U-shapes welded at right angles to each other. Not only pretty to look at, it also provides plenty of legroom! Is the Louise just not for you? Take a look at our other frames.

We customise your frame with our own hands in our own workshop! Plastic caps are attached to the bottom of the frame to protect the floor.

Pros and cons according to our Table specialist

This is for the doubters: the square edges are usable, a compromise between oval and rectangular.
Oakwood is very durable, the product will last for years.
If Louise is not suitable if you want to place 3, 5 or 7 dining chairs on the long sides.

The steel Louise frame is constructed from an airy line play for an elegant look. Perfect in combination with a Danish oval top.
