As a species, we’re increasingly aware of the pressure on the environment. Fortunately, more and more people are making targeted purchases with the well-being of the earth in mind. In the furniture industry, we have found various ways to work sustainably. That’s something we’re very proud of! Sustainable living is one of those essential trends that will keep developing in 2024. Did you know we do a lot about sustainability at Table du Sud? For instance, we work with high-quality oak wood, a material that you can enjoy for years to come. Living trend 2024: Organic shapes persevere

We see more and more customers willing to take a leap of faith. By this we mean that they don’t go for a classic rectangular or round dining table. We previously met the demand for this ‘something else’ by developing pebble-shaped dining tables. Well, that was just the beginning! We love to see more bold preferences, and we’re happy to contribute to the supply. For instance, we’ve lately added two new shapes to our range: Dollop and Abu!

Living trend 2024: Back to the 70s

When looking at recent interiors, do you also see touches of history, such as flavours of retro or vintage elements? Well, you’d certainly be right to think so! Every year we see that a certain time period is in fashion. For 2024, we go back to the seventies (at least as far as we’re concerned.) If you’d like to include a wink to the past, you could add certain details to you dining room and/or kitchen to create such a touch of history. Walnut fits this trend very well! Living trends 2024: Burgundy red

Within the world of trends, colors occupy a special place. Every year you see new colors being introduced. Some colors are real keepers and other colors are popular for a short time. As far as we are concerned, Burgundy Red is a real contender to make an even greater name for itself in 2024 and really maintain that peak. But what exactly is burgundy red? First of all, there are multiple names for this color. For example, many people only speak of 'burgundy', it loosely translates to burgundy red and the term 'wine red' is often used colloquially. So it is no surprise that this is a dark red color. This color traditionally scores well in autumn and winter because of its warm appearance, but certainly does not look out of place in spring and summer.
