Welcome to Table du Sud
Are you not looking for a standard, run-of-the-mill piece of furniture, but something that truly fits your space, reflects your style and stays within your budget?
Then you’re in the right place at Table du Sud. Because we once searched for a piece that really suited us. That was the beginning of a brand where your taste is at the heart of everything.
It all started with a practical need and a healthy dose of ambition.
When Teun moved out on his own, he quickly realised how hard it was to find a table that was not only high-quality and affordable, but also truly matched his taste. The models in stores were often too standard, not durable enough or simply out of budget.
So, together with his brother Evert, he decided to make a table himself. In their parents’ shed, they got to work, using sturdy materials and guided by a clear vision: a table full of character, built with care and offered at a fair price.
What began as a one-off project quickly grew. Family, friends and even strangers showed interest. From one table to two, three, five… The demand for affordable, custom-made tables kept rising. That’s why, in 2014, Teun and Evert decided to fully commit. Table du Sud was born.
Today, the possibilities are endless, but the approach remains the same.
Today, Table du Sud has grown into a full-fledged furniture brand.
Yet the starting point remains unchanged: creating high-quality, affordable furniture that truly suits you, your home, your budget and your personal taste.
Table du Sud. Maakt jouw smaak. (Makes your taste)
With over ten years of craftsmanship under our belt, we still work in our own workshop, without any third parties or intermediaries.
You can find us in our five furniture stores. In Heeze, Utrecht, Rotterdam, Zwolle and Antwerp, you can experience our passion for bespoke furniture firsthand.

What makes Table du Sud so unique?
Every table is crafted in our workshop in Heeze. No mass production, no imports. We simply make what is ordered. This ensures control, quality and sustainability.
You decide how your table will look and we make it. The length, width, type of wood, base and finish: you choose and we make sure every detail is perfect down to the millimetre.
We produce custom tables in-house. This means no expensive storage, no overstock and no middlemen. You notice it in the price and in the consistent quality.
We warmly welcome you to visit one of our furniture stores. Here you can ask questions, see and feel the materials and explore the different finishes available.

Showroom Antwerp
2025 – For the first time, we crossed the border. In Antwerp's Eilandje district, we opened our very first Belgian showroom. An exciting step that brings us even closer to our customers.

1
In the barn
2015 – At the time, Teun and Evert had no idea what was about to unfold. Evert built a bar table for Teun, and just like that, the very first Table du Sud came to life.

2
First bar table
2015 – The result spoke for itself: the very first made-to-order bar table was complete. Little did they know that plenty of others were looking for exactly the same thing. They soon found out.

3
Our first workspace
2015 – Viewing our very first workshop. With 120 m² of space, there was finally room to start making tables. The ceiling was low (2.1 metres), but thankfully, so was the rent.

4
The wood
2015 – Wood has always been our most important material, then and now. Here you can see the first substantial batch we purchased. These days, we order full lorry loads.

5
Planing, planing, planing!
2015 – One plank after another passed through the planer. And all without dust extraction. It didn't bother the two of them; they were focused on one thing only: making tables.

6
From plank to table
2015 – Step by step, the first tables began to take shape. Simple in setup, but crafted with care and dedication. The first pieces destined for our showroom.

7
From workplace to showroom
2015 – Did we say showroom? Every Saturday, our workshop transformed into one. At the end of each week, we spent well over an hour sweeping and vacuuming so everything looked spotless for visitors.

8
Big steps
2015 – Progress came quickly, and before long our first 400 m² workshop had already become too small. Time to find more space, and make even more tables.

9
Handmade
2016 – Demand kept growing, so increasing production became essential. This homemade glue press helped make it possible. A clever piece of engineering, and on to the next challenge.

10
We want more
2016 – Time for the next step. Higher production meant a larger workshop before long. Even 400 m² was no longer enough.

11
Nieuwkoop
2016 – Time to expand. Our Nieuwkoop showroom opens its doors. A strategic location that allowed us to bring genuinely handcrafted Brabant-made tables closer to customers across the Randstad.

12
HQ-Heeze
2017 – Heeze, of all places. You can't see it yet, but this is where the plans for Table du Sud's headquarters began. Rabobank granted us financing based on just one and a half years of trading. A remarkable vote of confidence.

13
The construction site
2017 – Ready, set, go. The first steel columns are raised. Before long, this would become our new 1,200 m² headquarters and factory.

14
1200 m2
2017 – Construction is progressing steadily.

15
Architecture with appearance
2018 – At Table du Sud, design has always mattered. Naturally, our building had to reflect that too. We'd say it turned out rather well.

16
+ 700 m2
2018 – Our existing production hall is extended with an additional 700 m².

17
Let's get to work
2017 – The production hall is complete, and it's time to get to work properly. Time to build tables.

18
Time to expand
2018 – Once again, we quickly outgrew our space. Time for another extension.

19
Relocation
2018 – Our Nieuwkoop showroom also needed more room as the collection continued to grow. We moved just a few doors down to a larger, more impressive location.

20
Nice work
2018 - Production continues to grow. There was only one conclusion: it was time to start planning another expansion.

21
+ 1700 m2
2018 - Anotner expansion

22

2021 – What a milestone. Alongside the Bronze FD Gazelle Award, we also received the Oryx Award for the most remarkable growth achievement. A moment we're incredibly proud of.

26
Doubling
2021 – From 3,500 m² to 7,000 m²: our second production hall is complete. Including 20 additional office workspaces, a company canteen, and 800 extra solar panels.
