A look into the company: sustainable lunch and relaxation
At Table du Sud, we believe it to be important that all our employees can perform in good conditions. Think of hypermodern machinery, solid ventilation, and great facilitation in office space(s). In short, a place that invites getting to work.
Of course, this also includes a delicious lunch and the necessary relaxation. After all, the way to the heart is through the stomach. On top of that, we value working sustainably!
From your own lunch to a delicious daily menu
Not so long ago, the employees of Table du Sud had to depend on their own culinary skills. Some brought a classic lunch box with sandwiches, others warmed up their leftovers, and some couldn’t resist the temptation of a good old frikandelbroodje!
When we started expanding our site in Heeze, the idea arose to set up a modern canteen with a beautiful bar and opportunities to relax. Hanneke, our own chef, gets busy day in and out to make wonderfully varied menus that our employees can enjoy to their heart's content. A soup of the day, various sandwiches, salads, a yoghurt: the choice is huge.
Enjoy sustainably
For our employees, this offers a lot of freedom and convenience. No longer do they need to make sandwiches before work, and they get to choose from the most delicious options every day. We didn’t base this choice only on the stomachs of our colleagues, we also took sustainability in mind. This way we all eat healthier and use much less packaging material. A real win-win situation!
Rest and relaxation
The times of quickly eating a meal and hurrying back to work are over. And that's a good thing. After dinner, it's time for some relaxation. Some relax by walking through the outskirts of Heeze, while another is eager to beat a colleague at the ping-pong table. The panoramic terrace offers everyone the opportunity to absorb some good old vitamin D. On this terrace, we have also placed a foosball table and a pool table. In short, there are plenty of opportunities to leave work for a moment and relax!
Table du Sud opts for sustainability
Really, this is only the tip of our iceberg. Of course, we understand that eating sustainably doesn’t immediately make a significant contribution to preserving the environment, but every little bit helps. Across the board, we attach great importance to sustainability at Table du Sud. For example, we mounted 1800 solar panels on the roof of the workshop to provide the necessary energy for our machines. In addition, we plant trees in Costa Rica and the Netherlands in collaboration with Trees for All to maintain the balance in forests.
