Shape
Rectangular garden tables remain popular. This is because they allow you to make efficient use of your space, and they accommodate a lot of people. Do you find it difficult to choose the right size for your new acquisition? Then start at the number of garden chairs that you want to add. Material
We make the accompanying tabletop from iroko wood. There’s a chance that the term iroko isn’t immediately familiar. Take it from us that this wood type is perfectly suited for the manufacture of garden furniture. This African hardwood is very stable, strong, and durable. PLEASE NOTE: iroko wood will turn slightly grey over time. This gives the whole a characteristic appearance.

Frame
What you see is what you get with this U-frame. The solid U-shape carries the tabletop with ease, and you don’t have to consider a possible lack of legroom on the long sides. However, this might be the case on the head sides. So when you’re composing your table, it’s smart to consider if you want to add chairs at the head sides regularly, or maybe only in the case of a pleasant occasion.

Custom made in our own workshop
We make the garden tables in our own workshop in Heeze in Brabant, not far from the place where the first Table du Sud table was once made. This gives you a lot of freedom when assembling your furniture. For example, the Felix is available in lengths of 300, 270 and 240 cm. Maintenance
The Dutch climate poses a threat to all materials, but with proper maintenance and extra precautions there should be nothing to worry about. For example, at Table du Sud we sell suitable maintenance products for the most diverse materials. In addition, it is smart to think about a winter plan. Do you have room to put your table under shelter, or store it in the shed? Always do so! A table cover is of course also a good solution to significantly extend the life of your table.
