Danish oval fishbone elegance

The Danish oval herringbone Elegance table is a real eye-catcher. The tabletop’s unusual shape in combination with the herringbone pattern makes for a real winner. On this page we give you all the relevant information about these beautiful dining tables.

What is herringbone Elegance?

You may already be familiar with the herringbone pattern from inlaid floors. However, after experimenting in our own workshop, we have found a way to use this pattern for our dining tables as well! The top layer of a herringbone Elegance table consists of 6 mm oak. You’ll notice the characteristic beams, placed diagonally against each other. The bottommost part of the tabletop is made of MDF.

Danish oval

The Danish oval shape is on the rise in the world of dining tables. This is because the shape brings some real benefits. Perhaps its biggest advantage is you’re able to add a seat at both head sides, considering that they’re straight. Still, the long sides of the table retain the characteristic curve of an oval table, which means everyone can look at each other. Extra cosy! Different colours

In our pictures we like to highlight that typical oak colour to give you an indication of the table. But did you know that our tables are available in more than ten different colours? When putting together the table online, you will automatically come across all options. Silk White is, for example, close to white, while Deep Black is very dark, as the name suggests. This gives you the chance to perfectly match your new acquisition with the rest of your interior!

Finish

The Danish oval Elegance tables are characterised by a facet finish. The top 6 mm of the tabletop is left alone, as it were, while the remaining part is milled away at an angle of 60 degrees. We can powder coat the frame in black for you if you wish.
