Different structures

So many sofas, so many different materials. At Table du Sud, you compose your sofa all by yourself. You choose between a sofa made of fabric, leather, or microfiber, with the open sanded leather being the most vulnerable. Below, we'll show you per type what you can do about annoying stains.

Sanded leather

Sanded leather is an open type of leather with a roughened, matte appearance. It's sensitive to grease, dirt, and moisture. The leather has an open pore that allows stains to easily penetrate. So if you spilled something, the stain should be wiped up as soon as possible. Don't rub, you'll only press the liquid into the pores! Dabbing well is our advice.

Textiles

Even with textiles, a stain can easily penetrate the fabric. Think, for example, of water rings that arise when you spill a drink. If a stain does appear, dab it off with a moisture-absorbing cloth. Fresh stains from solids can first be carefully "scraped away" as much as possible. Tip: we have the right tools for every type of sofa. Check the maintenance products.

Microfibre

Microfibre furniture is easy to maintain. If a stain appears, we recommend you dab it up with a moisture-absorbing cloth, just like with textiles. If the stain is then sprayed with the relevant maintenance product, the stain can be removed after 2-3 minutes with a clean cleaning cloth.

Maintenance products and service

We recommend matching maintenance products for each type of furniture. You can easily purchase these on the website and the products are also listed below. Our leather care kit is part of the sanded leather, the textile care kit is part of textile furniture and you can remove stains from microfibre furniture with the leather care kit for microfibre leather.

All in house service

Do you really want to be sure that your sofa is completely protected against stains? Then choose our all in house service. Your furniture is provided with high-quality protection. The invisible fibre protector makes your furniture stain-resistant and very user-friendly. This makes it easy to clean and liquids have no chance to cause permanent stains.

If a permanent stain does appear on your furniture, you can rely on our professional service. The furniture has 5 years of protection and stain service. We then remove all stains caused by drinks, foodstuffs and all human and mammal secretions. For leather, this stain service is even more extensive! More information about our all in house service? Then freely get in touch with us.
