Episode 5: Ellemijn & Isabel

Ellemijn and Isabel, a twin duo, were eager to find a place of their own in Utrecht. Initially living apart, they decided to join forces and buy a home together in the city. It turned out to be quite a challenge for the Kopen Zonder Kijken experts, but in the end, their dream home was found.

Ellemijn and Isabel’s home features a tone-on-tone interior. A colour-on-colour approach that creates a harmonious and elegant atmosphere. All the shades used stem from the same colour palette.

To add character and depth to this look, the Kopen Zonder Kijken stylist deliberately played with contrast within that palette. A good example is found in the dining area: a light floor paired with a dark, organically shaped oak dining table.
