Delivery costs at Table du Sud
- Ground floor delivery, order value above €250,-
- Delivery to the 1st or 2nd floor via a staircase, where feasible, for furniture under 30 kg only (wooden tables are always heavier, so staircase delivery is always assessed in advance for feasibility and prepared by our logistics department)*
- Delivery via an internal lift to any floor, provided the lift is large enough (at the customer's own responsibility)*
- Furniture lift arranged by Table du Sud, up to a maximum of the 7th floor*
- Delivery of wall shelves, where applicable by post

*Our logistics department will contact you to check whether delivery by elevator is possible. If it isn't possible to delivery by elevator we'll still have to rent a moving lift of which the cost will have to be paid by the customer.
It is not possible to change the date/time of delivery within 48 hours before delivery. In this case €75,- will be applied.

Delivery via a furniture lift
When your order is delivered using a furniture lift, we will arrange this for you. The costs involved will, however, be at your expense. We deliver up to a maximum of the 7th floor, with costs of €245.
Why is the minimum cost of a furniture lift €245,- ?
The cost of a furniture lift consists of the basic hire costs of the lift itself, additional administrative costs compared to a standard delivery, and the extra time required to schedule the delivery. In addition, delivering a table using a furniture lift takes approximately three times longer than a standard delivery. Finally, the risk of damage is greater than when we can carry the tabletop inside ourselves, which means we must also take this risk into account. In some cases, tables also need to be packed with additional protection to help prevent damage.
Do you find these costs too high? It is also possible to arrange the furniture lift yourself.
In that case, the table and assembly materials will be delivered to the ground floor and will not be assembled by Table du Sud. Delivery will then be €95,-.
Important information for delivery via a furniture lift:
- Table du Sud depends on the lift hire company when scheduling a furniture lift. If you are able to be flexible with delivery dates, we may be able to deliver your order sooner.
- If a parking permit or exemption is required, this is your responsibility to arrange.
- Please measure the windows and/or doors through which the order must pass very carefully. Take into account any special delivery conditions, such as a French balcony and the positioning of the furniture lift.
Delivery via stairs or lift
We often find that customers underestimate the weight of a tabletop. Our tabletops are heavy and can therefore only be moved lengthways (upright). Tabletops and benches are carried up to the 2nd floor.
Delivery via an internal lift is possible if there is sufficient space available. For a bench, the depth of the lift determines the maximum dimensions. For a tabletop, the maximum size is determined by the diagonal measurement of the lift floor.
Our preparation
Before delivery, our planning team checks all available options to ensure that our delivery team can deliver your furniture correctly. To do this, we may ask you for photographs so that we can assess the situation properly.
In addition, we use Google Maps and, where necessary, property listings to build a complete picture. If, based on our assessment, we believe that delivery is not possible, we will contact you and work with you to find a way to deliver your purchase safely. If you have opted for delivery via a furniture lift, we will contact you to make the necessary arrangements.
