About Anke de Jong
Anke de Jong was born in Heerenveen and had a passion for fashion and journalism from an early age. After her schooling, she rapidly built her name and shared her expertise with the rest of the Netherlands. After several internships and jobs at fashion magazines, she could already call herself the editor-in-chief of Glamour well before her thirties. Her ambition didn't stop there. At the age of 33, she reached the top of the ladder and was appointed editor-in-chief of ELLE, the largest fashion magazine in the Netherlands. A proud achievement!
ELLE… and much more?
Besides leading the editorial team of ELLE, does she have time for other work and hobbies? Absolutely! You can tune in every Thursday to listen to Supposedly Successful, the podcast she co-hosts with Julia Mekkes. Additionally, she is known for her participation in the immensely popular Wie is de Mol? in 2023 and regularly appears on RTL Boulevard as a fashion expert.
Current Interior
Choosing a new piece of furniture is certainly not a decision to be made hastily. In Anke de Jong's case, that was definitely not the case. Taking a glimpse into her interior, a few things stand out.
Her new home is difficult to categorize into one style, but if we really had to choose, we'd say: pleasantly serene. You'll find lots of tone-on-tone and a few substantial eye-catchers, like a decorative luminous dog stealing the show, scored by her sister on Marktplaats. Impressive that she managed to bring that into her big sister's home, who's not exactly a dog lover. A real hit in our opinion!
