Iroko outdoor table Lachaud

Shape
The rectangle is and remains a true star when it comes to tabletop shapes. The Lachaud has a rectangular tabletop with a frame around the edges. Crossbars are placed in this frame to give the whole a striking look. Do you find it difficult to determine the right size? Then start with the number of chairs you want to add. Also be sure to consider whether you want to add chairs at the head sides or not. Count about 70 cm space per person. Tip: check out our other garden tables for more inspiration.


Material
We make the Lachaud’s tabletop from iroko wood. This is an African wood type that, in our opinion, is perfectly suited for making garden tables. Iroko is very stable, strong, and durable. These are the properties you need for the Dutch climate. We would like to mention that you always have to be careful with our weather. Repeated exposure to bad weather without protection is a threat to any material. PLEASE NOTE: iroko wood will turn slightly grey over time. This gives the whole a characteristic appearance.


Frame
At first glance, the Lachaud frame might not seem all that special. However, if you take a closer look, you’ll see some details catching your eye. The angled uprights intersect a little above the centre point, where they make an angle, causing them to bend slightly further towards the corner of the table.


Custom made in our own workshop
We make the garden tables in our own workshop in Heeze in Brabant, not far from the place where the first Table du Sud table was once made. This gives you a lot of freedom when assembling your furniture. For example, the Felix is available in lengths of 300, 270 and 240 cm. Maintenance
Proper maintenance of furniture is recommended if you want to enjoy your purchase for a long time. Try to remove stains quickly and also think of a suitable maintenance product to keep your table in the best possible condition. In addition, it is smart to keep a close eye on your garden table during the cold winter months. Place it under a canopy or in the shed, or opt for a garden table cover, for example.
