Danish oval oak dining table Cavalier, available in different colours and sizes.
The Table du Sud star; the Danish oval table! Combine a beautiful oak look with a surprising design and subtle steel details and what do you get? Right! This Cavalier. In addition, this dining table is also equipped with a Danish oval table top, a concept that we came up with ourselves in our workshop in Heeze.
Danish oval
Just like a standard oval table, a Danish oval table is widest in the middle (this is also the width that you see in the measurements). The difference, however, lies in the course of the shape towards the short side. 20 cm from the end, the table is 40 cm narrower than it is in the middle. Where the shape of a standard oval table ends in a point, the Danish oval shape runs in at the end in a flattened, almost rectangular corner! So you can easily fit an extra chair at the short end! Oak dining table
Do you prefer a smooth and tight blade? Then go for new oak! With this option, the knots and cracks in the top are filled with a special resin for a sleek look. You can choose to fill the knots with a wood color resin, or a black resin so that the extra stands out.
Do you prefer a characteristic look? Then choose 'lived oak'. With this option, knots and cracks are not filled and the blade is brushed for the lived-in look. On the page about our oak wood, you'll find more information about the material we work with.
Frame | Cavalier
The frame is one of the most striking parts of this table. The steel part under the table top can of course be supplied in the steel look. You also have the option of opting for white or black powder coating. Is the Cavalier just not for you? Take a look at our other frames.
