Iroko wooden garden table Tuur, available in different sizes
For all of you Iroko fans we have another pearl in store. Meet Tuur! The Tuur stands out because of its straight lines and surprising oblique twist. As a garden table, it’s of course also for sale in different compositions. PLEASE NOTE: We recommend always placing this garden table under a canopy or shelter.
Rectangular garden table
The rectangular shape is the most classic shape there is. It offers you the opportunity to neatly organise your garden. When determining the size, take the robust legs of this table into account. This way you won’t be faced with surprises at home due to a possible lack of legroom. Are you still orientating? Check out our other garden tables.
Iroko wood
Garden table Tuur is made of iroko wood. Iroko is an African hardwood species that’s extremely suitable for making garden furniture. This wood is mostly known for its durability. It’s good to know sunlight may cause the wood to take on a grey colour. Iroko is a natural product, which means that the wood continues to work due to the influence of the weather. This can cause small cracks in the wood, but it doesn’t affect the quality of the wood. That’s why this so-called wood warping doesn’t entitle you to any complaints.
Our iroko wooden garden tables and garden chairs are sanded before they’re approved for delivery. The wood fibres may rise after its first contact with water. This makes the garden chair feel a bit rougher. Isn’t that to your preference? Then lightly sand Garden table Tuur once.
It isn’t necessary to treat your iroko wood furniture. However, this does belong to your options if you want to change the look of your furniture. Think of a suitable oil or sealer. As mentioned, the furniture doesn’t need to be treated, but we do recommend cleaning the iroko wood regularly with a damp cloth. Never use a high-pressure cleaner for this cleaning process, as this may affect the wood structure, making it very susceptible to mould and algae.
For permanent stains, we recommend using an abrasive. Avoid using steel wool, wire brushes, chlorine, and corrosive cleaning agents. Put Garden table Tuur indoors in wintertime, under a shelter, cover, or tarpaulin, making sure you extend its lifespan. Green deposits can occur in a relatively moist corner of the garden. We advise you to use a garden hose and suitable cleaning products to remove these kind of deposits.
Different sizes
As you’re used to, this table is also available in different sizes. The Tuur is for sale with a length of 240 cm, 270 cm, and 300 cm. The width of the table is always 100 cm. We assemble the legs of the table slightly inwards. The distance between the leg and the edge is 10 cm. The length between the legs on the long side is the full table length minus 40 cm. In the case of a 270 cm table, the length between the legs comes down to 230 cm.
