More information
Custom oval oak dining table Coco, various colours and sizes.
A striking design: check! Sustainable material: check! Custom work: check! The oak dining table Coco has it all. Compose it completely according to your wishes, and you’ll soon enjoy a new, beautiful dining table in your own kitchen and/or dining room!
Shape
The oval shape is the golden mean if you’re in doubt between a rectangular dining table and a round one. With an oval dining table, you cover a bit more space so you can easily create more seats. Don’t forget everyone can look at each other at the table as well, which creates a cosy atmosphere. Did you know that we can make the Coco in different shapes for you? In addition to this classic oval shape, we also have the semi-oval Coco, Danish oval Coco, and semicircle Coco in store. Take a look so you know exactly what possibilities there are. In addition, it is smart to read the blog about the different shapes. In this blog we have listed all the ins & outs about the shapes for you.
Material
Oak wood is a sustainable choice. Why? Because with normal use and proper maintenance, oak lasts a long time! At Table du Sud, we turn beautiful oak wood into tabletops. Did you know that you can choose from three different variants when composing the Coco? For example, are you a fan of a super sleek tabletop? Then choose refined oak. For refined oak, we select special planks that contain virtually no knots. In addition, we have also lived and new oak for you. On the page about our oak you’ll find more information about the options. Tip: don’t just think of the typical wood colour when you see your table; the Coco is available in more than ten different colours! Extra tip: also check out our other dining tables for inspiration.
Frame
The frame of the Coco can rightly be called ‘special’. If we take a closer look at the frame of this table, we see two C-shapes that are curved inwards, carrying the tabletop with ease. As far as we are concerned, a wonderful example of a seemingly simple table with a surprising twist. Tip: When choosing the size of your table, pay close attention to the position of the chairs and the frame. This prevents you from coming into contact with the frame while sitting.
Custom-made in our own workshop
Two things we’re happy to say: we make the tables all by ourselves and we work without stock! Why? At Table du Sud you have an incredible number of options to compose your table with. This means that many combinations are possible, which is precisely the reason why we don’t keep stock. Almost every dining table is unique. In the case of the Coco, you can choose from different sizes, finishes, materials, and colours. Want to know more? Read the frequently asked questions about our workshop for more information. Last tip: also check out our dining chairs and get a beautiful set at home.
