Organic Leaf oak dining table Gap, available in various sizes and colours
Fan of a traditional X-leg? Then the Gap is for you. In this dining table, we combine this reliable base with a high-quality organic tabletop. You can put this piece together yourself to perfectly match the rest of your interior.
Shape | Leaf
We notice that more and more people are taking the plunge when it comes to the shape of tabletops. We ourselves regularly put our heads together in our workshop to develop new designs. Here, we always look for organic shapes that are pleasing to the eye, but that do not compromise on functionality. The Leaf shape is a real hit in this respect. This organic shape resembles a classic oval, but is really different! Tip: you can fit as many dining chairs at a Leaf table as at an oval dining table. Check out our other organic dining tables for inspiration.
Material | Oak
When making table tops, we always use the best possible materials. Oak has been a regular in Dutch living rooms for decades and will remain so for some time. This wood is strong, easy to clean and durable because it lasts so long. We have good suppliers who supply us with impressive quality oak wood. Did you know you can even choose from three different species? Fans of a natural look should opt for aged oak. We leave the knots and cracks in this wood. The counterpart of aged oak is refined oak. These are specially selected planks that contain almost no knots and cracks. New oak is somewhere in between. With this wood, we fill in the cracks and knots. Want to know more? Check out our page on oak wood.
Frame | Gap
A traditional X-foot remains popular and with an organic table top you have a nice contract to make. By the way, did you know that this steel base can also be painted in a colour other than black? We would be happy to do this for you!
Custom made from our own workplace
As you may already know, at Table du Sud you buy your furniture without a middleman. We make the dining tables ourselves in our own workshop in Heeze in Brabant. Nice to know is that this workshop is literally adjacent to our showroom in Heeze , so during your tour of the furniture you can see our craftsmen busy making all kinds of furniture.
