Making our furniture naturally requires energy. In this area too, we try to work as sustainably as possible. Here’s how:
The sun as an energy source
We make use of every ray of sunshine! The sun is a clean, renewable source of energy, and we’re happy to make the most of it. More than 1,200 solar panels are installed on the roofs of our head office, workshop and furniture store in Heeze.
We use this solar energy to make our furniture in our own workshop, as well as to power our office and furniture store in Heeze.
Good to know: in July 2025, we set a new record by generating 55,000 kWh. That’s enough energy for an electric car to travel around the world approximately seven times.
Any solar energy we don’t use ourselves is fed back into the electricity grid.
