Wood plays an important role in our collection. From dining tables to dining chair legs and everything in between, we work with it every day. And because we use a lot of wood, we believe it’s important to use it responsibly.

That’s why we source our wood from suppliers that meet the appropriate sustainability standards. In this way, we contribute to responsible forest management and help preserve forests for the future.

Trees for everyone

Our wood is sourced responsibly, but we don’t stop there. In partnership with Trees for All, we plant new trees. For every three Table du Sud tables sold, two new trees are planted: one in the Netherlands and one abroad.

Trees play an important role in tackling climate change. In this way, Table du Sud contributes to the restoration and preservation of forests, while also supporting greater biodiversity and better living conditions for people and nature.

Closer to home, Trees for All is also working to create new and more resilient natural areas. Several projects are underway across the Netherlands, including in Limburg. Over a period of three years, more than 190,000 trees and shrubs will be planted there to make the landscape greener.
