With its natural slope, the live edge table is a centrepiece for your home! This live edge table is made of solid French oak and equipped with a metal frame. In addition to a choice of thicknesses for the tabletop, you can also choose between "reclaimed" oak or new oak and with more or less camber.

Do you like unique pieces of furniture with a lived-in style? Then Table du Sud's beautiful live edge tables something you should really take a look at! The natural slope of the edge makes each live edge table a unique piece of furniture. The live edge tables are handmade from solid 5 or 6 centimetre thick French oak. No mass-production or use of reinforced materials, instead each piece is a unique and authentic dining-room table which has been made by hand. For new oak, we neatly fill the knots with resin in the colour of the wood, so that you do not have the nuisance of unevenness or dirt. This includes the edge, which is made 100% splinter-free. So you can dine carefree, even with small children. In the case of reclaimed oak, we deliberately leave open the beautiful knots and cracks that give the tabletop its character. You decide which finish suits you best.

Each frame is made-to-measure in our own workshop. Plastic feet are placed underneath the metal frame to protect your floor.

Do you want a maintenance-free table? Then choose one of the colors below. All tabletops are delivered with a very high quality, scratch-resistant lacquer applied in our very own modern spray booth. You can choose the “ultra matt lacquer” that ensures your furniture retains an untreated appearance. Do you want a different shade? Then choose one of our selected stains. After staining, all furniture is provided with 2 protective layers.
