9005 Deep Black

When you pick one of our oak tables, there are thirteen colours to choose between. One of these is 9005 Deep Black, which colour goes without saying. Despite the paint’s full coverage, the wood’s structure is still charmingly visible.

Deep Black 9005 is one of our colour finishes. Because Deep Black 9005 is fully covering, there are two concerns you should consider:

  • As Deep Black 9005 blades contain an opaque finishing and because we do not want to lose the wood’s chic appearance, these blades are brushed by default. Because brushing is carried out with heavy machinery, some little pieces of filling may be chipped. Unfortunately, we cannot prevent this.
  • By default, we use new oak (with filled knots) for our tables with such an opaque finishing. As indicated, this blade is brushed. The knots have less structure, which is more notable with opaque colours.

Characterisation deep black 9005

Despite the full coverage of Deep Black 9005, the wood’s structure is still easily visible. Filled knots do, however, have less structure (as you may see on the right).

All tables are composed of different planks. Because every plank has a different colour, we cannot prevent colour differences between the planks. Wood is a natural product, which is why tops cannot be copied exactly and table tops differ from each other.
